The Point's mission is: to provide a safe place in community to meet personal needs and connect people to one another. Everything we do is designed to connect people with the services they may need as well as space and opportunity to get to know their neighbors and build community. Our center, built by Centerpoint Church (formerly Third Reformed Church) is an open gift to Kalamazoo County and Oshtemo township. Our board consists of both members of Centerpoint, as well as community leaders and neighbors committed to reaching out and connecting people in their fields of expertise. Consisting of quality programming, a Fitness Center, and a Coffee House, The Point is open to the public and a wonderful place to connect. You can click on any staff member’s name to email them directly.

Andrea Cummings is the Global Coffee Manager at The Point. Andrea came to Global Coffee after spending 4 years serving with Youth for Christ and 6 months working with The Coffee Bar, both in Kalamazoo. Andrea has a heart for people and a love for coffee. Coming to Global Coffee was the perfect fit. Andrea has been married for 6 years to Ryan Cummings. They live on the east side of Kalamazoo with their "children" - Kali, a boxer, Theory, a golden retriever, and a small flock of chickens. When Andrea doesn't smell like coffee, she enjoys riding her bike, reading, being outside, doing crafty projects and spending time with friends and Ryan (and the "kids").
